l think its ridiculous to see all those lifted trucks and SUV is dragging trailers with labels such as ''GOT GLAMIS,'' ''GOT SAND'' or ''WEEKEND WARRIOR'' sprawled on the back.

These people are a step behind in the evolutionary cycle. Its even funnier when their trailers are impounded or repossessed because they bought all this JUNK with 2nd mortgages on homes they bought with sub-prime loans.

So now the Dealerships are full of SUVS, lifted trucks and motorbikes that people owned who thought they made it big.

l think this little recession did some good in this area and deflated a lot of egos.

l laughed the other day when l saw a lifted F150 towing a tiny little trailer with a lawnmower and a rake. No l dont want that guy cutting my lawn at all. Not after all these Got Glamis idiots spent years recklessly driving on Southern California freeways.

l agree with u a little bit, but ur title that Motocross is Stupid is coming from a person ignorant about MotoCross & racing in general.

Glamis & MotoCross have about as much in common as driving to the grocery store & racing NASCAR. They both use cars but have very little else in common.

Like u however, l think that the big lifted trucks r stupid & people mortgaging their future for toys is ridiculous. l have a 4wheel drive truck that is not lifted, l am not in debt up to my eyeballs, l do not have stickers on my truck & l race MotoCross. The big lifted trucks r mostly immature little boys trying to make up for some deficiency in their stature.

Try to understand that the big trucks with Got Glamis stickers & driving like an idiot have absolutely nothing to do with MotoCross. They do not race MotoCross at Glamis. The MX racers that l know r dedicated athletes that work hard at what they enjoy doing & there is nothing else like it..

Its sad when a mind sniffs in to much smog..It effects the thought process..

Then there are others that always wanted to race bikes and there mommy would not let them..All the other cool kids got to do it..But mommy said it was to dangerous and you had to stay home and play with dolls..

Well l am sure u r entitled to ur opinion no matter how ill informed it may be. But from what l can gather Glamis is totally not related to motocross & perhaps u should look up what motocross actually is before commenting upon it. l do not own a F150 & personally would find one completely unsuitable for mx & sx as we actually take the sport seriously. We do not even own one of these trailers that seem to have ur blood pressure sky high, but a fully decked out van with sleeping quarters to save money, all in with the bikes.

The people that u r talking about would not be in any way serious about the sport as if they did they would not have stickers like Weekend Warrior on the back.

Perhaps u should invest in a life yourself then u would not find these people so annoying.

Wow. l don´t know where to start but it seem to me that when u read a label or a bumper sticker u read way too much into it. l feel there´s quite a lot of hate inside of you, so l guess u r not having fun in ur life (not to mention enough good sex). If u don´t like Trucks, that´s OK don´t buy one. If u do not have economic problems right now, good for you!. But l sincerely recommend not to laugh of people having a hard time because karma is a funny thing & what goes around comes around. And for Christ sake, what the hell has ur question to do with Motocross ? err.. & no it is not stupid at all, but if u don´t like it please don´t do it!

glad o see ur opinion, but let me set u straight while not verging onto the stereotypical path. yes its true most of us drive these huge lifted trucks (which l too think serve no purpose) & they lose it all out of bankruptcy or bad credit or whatever, in fact my old neighbor went through that & had to move back to missouri.
but despite all that l dont think its fair to complete trash & ridicule the entire sort altogether just cause some give off the impression that were all idiots. take my family for example: we own quads & bikes & go out to anza borrego & glamis frequently in the fall/winter season, but we paid for everything completely at purchase toys, rv, trailer & all. Ive been riding since l was 6 (now 18), so u cant say im new to the sport right? ive never shaved my head, ive never done drugs, drink, failed a class in school, l go to a private university & am doing well, believe me my ego is very well intact :)

points is this: dont go judging something u dont know, the whole bur-dogger, lifted truck, redneck aspect is just a sterotype. by all means, bash those that express this lifestyle & attitude, but dont bash on the sport.
