l believe the search is for a 'gear change threshold light'. But no-one calls them that nowadays & people will look at u like ur nuts if u call them that (unless thats just me.)
l have one from here:

and have never had a moments trouble from it. except when l get to thinking l know what l am doing & fiddling too much.
try searching for 'shift light' on Google.
Any good performance tuning shop should be able to at least point u in the right direction.
