Hey l am 15 and l was wanting to know what is the best dirt bike for a 270 lb. 5'6'' . teen/man? Thanks best answer gets 5 stars!

a 250 cc bike definatly. maybe a crf250r(race bike with dual exhaust) crf250f(trail bike w/ head and tail light) a kx250f any ktm 250. a yamaha yzf250f(racing w/ single exhaust.) or yamaha wr250(also trail bike with lights. it all depends on the type of riding your doing. if your more experienced then consider a 450cc bike

At that height & age ur in luck, u have a few to choose from, all depending on ur skill level & personal preference.

1. 125cc 2 stroke, like a YZ125 or RM125. These r light & fast, great for jumping, racing, & punching the throttle.
2. 250cc 2 stroke (ex. YZ250) These r much like the 125s, but pack a more significant punch. Again their for the same uses as a 125, but more for the intermediate & up rider.
2. 250cc F bike, like CRF250 or KX250F. These r a little heavier than the 2 strokes, & not as snappy as a 2 strk, but definitely fast. Also for racing, but a better choice for open riding where u can stay on the throttle for longer periods or time.
3. 450 4 stroke. For the same uses as 250Fs, but more power behind it. l would ony consider this bike if u r pretty well experienced.
4. 250 4 stroke trail bike, like TTR250, WR250, XR250. These r perfect for learning & really open trail riding. These r the ultimate desert/baja bike. Not as much power as any of the others, but great for long hauls ( l call them A to B bikes, their purpose is to get u from point A to point B).

Theres ur choices, l would look into whichever fits what u want to have in a bike as well as taking in ur experience level.

im 15 5'7'' and 145 but l race a2007 kx250f. l wouldnt get a two stroke and pretty much get a kx250f,cr250f,yz250f,rmz250..check on craigslist.com for these.. and there are tons of sites that tell you where motocross tracks are in every state.. l prefer the track rather then any other riding. on occasion ill ride in the desert since l live in az

250cc Four Stroke. You will need to adjust the suspension for your weight with stiffer springs. The pre-load will need to be adjusted as well so you have the proper sag (usually around 100mm).
