l have to do a project and l wanted to know if motocross is a nature sport??can someone suggest some nature sports besides snowboarding and hunting?

Hiking, biking, cross country skiing, are nature sports, motocross l do not think could be a nature sport, since it involves a noisy machine, nature sports are sports that involves no mechanical machines, just you and nature.

motocross isnt really a nature sport, it is acctually bad for the enviroment, c02 emissions, tear up the fauna noisy & pollution

l love the sport but they r the key issues we face & some people for a fact just hate motorcycles & their riders,

other sports that may be included as a nature sport r birwatching lol, cross country ( triathlons) Ski ing, wakeboarding(anything to sdo with a boat fishing water ski ing etc etc..)

l do not think u would get too many people to agree that mx is a nature sport even though u tend to get very close to the dirt & in the case of many of the riders in the area my sons race in very close to the odd Kangaroo. Well that is if u consider slamming into one while racing as they happen to hop into the track getting close to nature.
The general public usually have the opinion that mx is totally against nature & that is why many mx tracks r being shut down as residences or nature lovers decide that the tracks r causing noise pollution & want them removed. Not a lot of people who do not understand the need to go out onto a bike & cut a few laps can agree with the ground being torn up to do so & those lucky enough to have a track of their own have to make certain they do not annoy the neighbours & get themselves shut down.

So l think u can cross mx off the nature sport list.

Motocross is not a nature sport, but if you think about it Endurocross could have to do with nature because your in the woods almost the entire time, or Hairscrambler So if you really wanted to be sure, l would pick a different topic to do your project on, even though l am obsessed with motocross myself. The Baja 500 could be nature too because your in the desert the whole time but idk. l hope l helped
