Does anyone own an 05 CR250? if you do, do you have the same problem with the power? Off the bottom its smooth and a little weak but all the sudden it yanks in the lower midrange. Any suggestions how to get rid of this and make it smoother? l know its a 2stroke and has a hit but its in a bad spot for me. A flywheel wieght may help and maybe some jetting changes but what? ...any ideas?
naw l deffinetly dont need to trade it, its fun and snappy and smooth when l keep it above the low mid, just in tight stuff and sometimes Id like to be able to lug it around some

Welcome to 50 horse power dude.If you just trail ride yes..the flywheel weight will help a bunch. l would keep the stock jetting..Its not going to cure what your looking for..The cr250 is a full blown race bike..You might have to trade it in for a tamer ride..

If you do not have experience jetting a race bike l would recommend the kit from JD Jets. They have a custom needle that will clean up the power and smooth it out without losing the performance you need.

The 10 ounce flywheel will smooth out the bottom a bit with no noticeable decrease in performance on top. That will help in ''tight stuff'' without hurting performance on an MX track
