l prefer the CRF250R. It is lighter, more reliable and has plenty of power and torque.

Most of the time, people buy KTM is because of all the bits on them.

Anyway CRF250R is better IMO

l would go for the crf250r as my sons both race them and we have had no problems with the bike. The ktm is known to have problems with the suspension that Ktm do not seem to be able to fix.

Ill be short & quick.

i myself am an owner of a 1 month old honda crf250r & let me tell u that they r a killer bike, it is so easy to maintain, the power is responsive & crisp & u can just have so much fun

If l had the money l would have gone for the ktm but the crf had the dual pipes & u just cant say no to that

But in conclusion the Ktm is a more powerful bike by 2.4 Hp but that shouldnt stop u from gettin a 250r as the honda is r very reliable bikes, the only problems youll have is starting the bugger, because it jetted so high (stock) its a reall pain to start hot & cold.

Good Luck

Depends on what u want to do with it. If u plan to race competitively the Honda suspension will be much better. l love KTM is & currently own one, but for motocross their suspension just is not on par with any of the Japanese bikes. A couple horsepower is not going to win a race, but inferior suspension will damn sure lose one. That being said, KTM is r still great bikes & their suspension does work well for woods riding. If u do not plan to compete it really does not matter which one u buy.
