This surely puts Vermeulen, West & Edwards as a good each way bet.

But l am gonna keep my money in my pocket, coz this will blow it wide open.

Even the great Casey Stoner has not had a particularly good Jerez so far, nowhere near matching Vale is consistently fast times on race rubber. Is Casey holding something in reserve? something thats been a bit of a Rossi trademark in the past.

Anyway, the only thing l am gonna predict for this test (and for the following season) is that it is gonna be unpredictable!

l wonder if Mr Haydon is going to have a big grin on his face in an hour or two? Like Neil l would not put money on this one, but feel it might not be Stoner today - please god (nothing personal, l just want racing not a procession this season!)

If l felt abit jingoistic today l would say Toseland of course, but that is wishful thinking.

As for interesting - YEEEEEEAHHHH BABY!

l think the biggest WOW factor here is Dovi.

We know Casey / Vale / Hayden [ now ] & West r all great wet guys, but who would have put Dovi ahead of all the guys he beat. Good Work Sir.

The rain was a bit of a let down really.

On paper only 4 riders made the grade & the first 2 were Michilin runner, but this all means nothing for the race, which no doubt will be in blazing hot sun !
