yes and no, on the right terrain and with good experience it is relatively safe however in bad weather conditions a dirtbike can flip over with an inexperienced user rather easily he should avoid bad weather and take it slow until he knows what hes doing.and yes people have died from flipping on a dirtbike.

l think that if you really want him to do what makes him happy then you should support him as much as you possibly can. Its natural to worry when you care for someone.

No l think you should support him 100%, even put your bluejeans on and get right in there and help him-get dirty and greasy- only time to worry is when he finishes out of the top three..

Depends, can he ride? Is he any good? Is it his first bike?

Okay, we all know motocross can be dangerous, so can skiing, skateboarding, etc. Let is put this whole danger thing aside and get right to the point. The quickest way to lose your boyfriend is to ask him to give up things that he enjoys because they make you worry, or because it cuts into your alone time or whatever reason it may be. Just come to terms with the fact that guys are never going to think and rationalize things the same as women and let it go.

Of course u r entitled to worry but that is where ur entitlement stops.
l have two sons who race, one does supercross as well as motocross. l worry all the time & my youngest son has had more than his fair share of injuries, but racing is who he is & l chose a long time ago not to wrap my boys in cotton wool. They would not forgive me for it. You just have to be supportive & realise that life is to be lived & shit happens. He could as easily choke on a piece of food or get hit by a bus.

Well.
my whole family rides and my cousin, my brother, and both my uncles race.
l get worried but l beleive in them.
l know they can do it and be ok.
you are always going to worry no matter what, you just have to say ''good luck baby'' and '' l no you can do this''
