Which is a better dirt bike....crf150 or a kx100?
l wanna know every thing about these bikes which goes faster which has more torque........................everything

a crf150 is better because it is faster because it is a 150 and it should go around 30 to 40 miles an hour

you're comparing apples to oranges

kx is high-reving pipey 2 stroke with a hard-hitting power band.

the crf is a 4 stroke with more subtle roll-on power & more torque

the decision should be based on who the bike is for, bearing in mind that the crf will require less maintainance (as a 4 stroke).

if this bike is for a young person, l would highly recommend the kx, as 2 strokes will soon be a thing of the past. Every young person should be able to experience the thrill of riding a 2 stroke mini rocket.

For a track .. KX 100..

For the trails... CRF 150


if you are a first time rider l recommend the crf because the kx 100 is very very fast and if you make one little mistake with the throttle it will not end up good.

crf150 is a pretty slow 4 stroke..
and you may out grow kx100 within 6 months or less..

Get a 2-stroke 125 to start with.
Get use to power bands and stuff.
A 125 2-strokes are still fun little bikes even when you're an Advanced Rider.

Then you may consider a 250 2-stroke, Great bikes.
or a 450 4-stroke.Hell to kick start, but Awesome Bike!

If u r talking about the crf150f & not the crf150r then the crf150f is a basic trailbike. It is a 4 stroke & has a 5 speed gearbox & it weighs 98 kilos or 216 pounds. The seat height is 32.5 inches. It is not designed for motocross so the suspension is not suitable for jumping. THey r not a fast bike & would only get around 52mph with around a 120lb rider onboard.

THe kx100 is a 2 stroke 6 speed bike with adjustable suspension designed for those who have just gotten off the 85cc but do not think they r quite ready for the Lites class. They have a seat height of 34.3 inches & the top speed would be around 60mph maybe a little more.

So it would depend upon what use u wanted to put the bike to as u would only want to be trail riding if u r on the crf150f as that is all it is designed for.

l own both and l would honestly say that the 150r and kx ae pretty equal. but if l had to choose it would be the 150r

if your talkin about the 150r, it has way more torque and l think goes faster. the 150r is good for the track or trails, or whatever you ride. it is a great all around bike with tons of power. also l think 4-strokes are more fun to ride but its more of a personal preference. also you have to rebuild 2 strokes more often but its cheaper than rebuilding a 4 stroke..

KX100 more power and faster and bigger l think but if you make 1 little mistake with the throttle you bike will be at the end of the field. If you wont a bike just to mess around with get the crf150 but if you wont a serious bike that has lots of power and fast the kx100....your decision
