Just bought a 97 YZ 125 and dont know what l need to do after each time l ride, like when to change the oil...when to clean the filter...that sort of thing.

What do l need to do after each day of riding?

l am not the best person to answer this but racing bikes (250f 450f 250t 125t) use lots of oil. about every 2 rides my 250f will run out of engine oil and will need more tranny oil, l am assuming that your 125 is not very diffrent, it wont hurt for you to check the oil every time you ride just so you wont mess up your bike

Im a four stroke guy so im not sure if this applies to you but l need to change engine oil about every 5-6 rides depending on length on my yz250f

l would do the crankcase oil every 10 to 15 hours and the air filter after every ride unless there was just no dust at all. Buy an extra filter and always keep one clean, oiled and ready to go (in a large zip lock bag). Check spokes and critical nuts/bolts (axle, handlebars, etc.), coolant level and chain tension before each ride.
