Yes, that should fit you just fine. Bikes are pretty forgiving on size with the exception of seat height. l can not imagine a 250 is going to be anywhere near too high for you though. Congratulations on not being a retard and going out and buying a 600 or 1000 CC bike without having a clue about what you're getting into. Good luck!

Get a zx-6R and put some lowering links (aka. dog bones) on it. You will be wasting your money on a 250r.

But if its strictly for transportation only, then the 250 would be fine.

you will fit a 1000. You wont have to lower it at all. l am 5'5'' and do just fine. l can even put fat chicks on the back.
