l am not sure this will happen as he tried all ways to get a team together for this season & it didnt happen. l can see the argument that its almost paid for already. but if that was the case why not run the team as it is by Kawasaki. im sure its not a good thing for kawasaki to leave & the emergency meeting is proof of that but it takes a lot to run a GP team. there is always going to be the development question. no-one wants to run a team that is going to go backwards from day one.
My money says it wont happen. so the sensible people will say it will.

l am hoping that this along with the crisis talks that the manufacturers are holding in Japan can persuade Kawasaki to change their minds.

Would be great news for the sport if Aspar pulls it off. More than 50% chance? l will go with yes.

If there is one man who can pull off this last minute deal & run a team from thin air, its Aspar.

The man is a racing god & with his connections always seems to pull great sponsors with lots of backing.

Even if he just runs 2 bikes for Hooper, then that a start.

Talking to a mate on the phone in France about half an hour ago, he has heard that its going to be a done deal, the same day Team Kwack officially pulls the plug. The best news is, it may be a split sponsor deal.

One half of the bike Monster Drinks, the other Movi-Star Telecoms.

Now that l would like to see ! The leathers would look mad !
